While we try to be a comprehensive source of golf throughout the United States (really, we’re trying), we can’t hope to compete with sites that can offer more detailed information about specific regions. We recently discovered one of those sites at Golf Ocean City.
Visit their guide to Ocean City golf courses and you’ll discover that there aren’t any golf courses in Ocean City – other than the miniature kind. Just not enough space on the barrier island that Ocean City occupies at this mid-Atlantic vacation destination. But there’s plenty of space a short drive back across the bridges to the mainland and golf course developers took advantage of that space to create bunch of courses back in the boom days of the 1980′s and 1990′s.
There are waterfront, links-style courses (such as The Links at Lightouse Sound and Rum Pointe), excellent inland, tree-lined layouts (like River Run Golf Club) and a little bit of everything at some courses (such as the very diverse two course Glen Riddle Golf Club).
Golf Ocean City has pretty much all you need for a great golf trip to Ocean City, Maryland, but if you’re still looking for more, including information about the courses just north of the border in Delaware, check out our own page of golf courses near Ocean City, MD.
