The championship course at Southern Hills Country Club has been the site of 14 major or national championships, including the 2007 PGA Championship (for the fourth time). The course was designed by Perry Maxwell, also the architect of Colonial and Prairie Dunes.
In addition to the championship course, there's a 9-hole course known as the "West Nine", designed by Ben Crenshaw. The club also features a couple of swimming pools, tennis courts, a fitness center and a very large (over 67,000 square feet) club house with banquet facilities that can seat up to 450.
