Located just a few miles northwest of Mobile in Semmes, Alabama, the courses at Magnolia Grove are the southernmost in The Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. The Crossings course at Magnolia Grove gets it's name from the trip it twice makes across railroad tracks. With six sets of tees (a common theme throughout the Trail) to make it playable for everyone, yet The Crossings is tough enough to be home to the LPGA tour's Tournament of Champions. The second championship-length course at Magnolia Grove is "The Falls", a shorter but equally tough (as judged by slope and course rating) layout. As a warm-up or cool-down or just a place to learn the game, there's an excellent 18-hole par-3 "short course" on the site, too.
