Cascata is one of the ultra-high-end courses that have been built by Las Vegas casino/hotel companies in recent years. Cascata is a Rees Jones design that opened in 2000 and is reserved primarily for use by guests of hotels and casinos owned by the Harrah's company. The course is very much of the "heavily watered desert style" category. It sits all by itself in the middle of the desert, surrounded by the hills just outside of Boulder City. It's easily accessed by major highways from the Las Vegas strip, about 30 minutes away. It's a spectacular location and well worth a visit if the price fits your budget.
