Firestone Country Club has 54 holes of great golf and is located about 5 miles south of downtown Akron and less than a mile from the intersection of I-77 and I-277.
The South course at Firestone Country Club is one of the United States' classic courses, first opened in 1929. Since 1962 it's been the home of either the World Series of Golf or an event in the World Golf Championships series. It also hosted the PGA Championship in 1960, 1966 and 1975 - the first course to hold the event three times.
The other, slightly less famous courses at Firestone are called the West and North Courses, both challenging tests of your skills.
