The Golf Club at Desert Mountain is a sprawling collection of six golf courses located throughout the Desert Mountain community in the far northeastern corner of Scottsdale. All six courses - Renegade, Cochise, Geronimo, Apache, Chiricahua and Outlaw - are "Championship Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses", the largest collection of Nicklaus layouts in the world. The Cochise course used to be the home of "The Tradition", a major on the Senior PGA tour which was won by the course designer four times.
Out here on the fringes of the Valley of the Sun you'll find some significant elevation changes. The Chiricahua course varies by about 1,000 feet between it's high and low points. And your ball will never have to stray far offline before you have to decide whether you really want to venture into that canyon - or likely snake habitat. Desert Mountain is simply one of the most amazing golf facilities on Earth.
