Course Details

Liberty National Golf Club is located in Jersey City, New Jersey on the shores of the Hudson River. This very exclusive private club is known for its views of the Statue of Liberty and the skyline of Manhattan - it claims to be the closest course to Manhattan. The golf course is built upon a former toxic waste site and has a very wide-open, modern "links style" design. In 2009 Liberty National was the home of The Barclays, the opening round of the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup playoffs.  Liberty National Golf Course is 3.6 miles from downtown New York.

Notes

Bionic Golf Gloves

Yeah, the name is a little goofy and they're a bit pricey. However, they're extremely comfortable and last a loooong time compared to standard-issue golf gloves.

Telescopic Golf Ball Retriever

Balls can be expensive. There's nothing wrong with taking a few seconds to pull a ball or two out of one of those bleeping "penalty areas".
