St. James Plantation

St. James Plantation is a large real estate development in Southport, North Carolina, located about 30 miles southwest of downtown Wilmington. The amenities here include tennis courts, several fitness centers, a beach club, biking trails, boat docks - and lots of golf.

There are four golf courses at St. James Plantation with 81 holes. The Reserve Club is an 18-hole, 7,100 yard course created by Nicklaus Design. P.B. Dye created the design for the 18-hole, 7,000 yard Founders Club course. The Members Club features 27 holes designed by Hale Irwin.
