Course Details
The first golf course at The Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs opened in 1918, designed by Donald Ross. There are now three courses at Broadmoor - the East, the West and the Mountain. Robert Trent Jones designed 18 holes that were added in 1965, which were combined with the original Ross holes to create the East and West courses. The Mountain Course was designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 2006. Nicklaus won his first "major" - the 1959 US Amateur - on the East Course. Notes
Garmin Approach S12 Golf Watch
This caddy on your wrist knows distances for over 42,000 courses. We doubt that Bones Mackay can even claim to have that much knowledge. And the Approach S12 is a bit cheaper than hiring Bones.

Telescopic Golf Ball Retriever
Balls can be expensive. There's nothing wrong with taking a few seconds to pull a ball or two out of one of those bleeping "penalty areas".
