Course Details

Waveland Golf Course is an 18-hole municipal facility located adjacent to I-235 on the west side of Des Moines, Iowa. It was the first golf course to open west of the Mississippi River, way back in 1901. Notable features: lots of trees, lots of hills and a the Drake Municipal Observatory sits in the middle of the course.
