Gamble Sands

Course Details

Gamble Sands is a golf course resort in Brewster, Washington that opened in 2014. The original course was designed by David McLay Kidd as the centerpiece of a planned "destination resort community". The links-style layout received acclaim as one of the best new courses of 2014. Five sets of tees make it play between 4,797 and 7,169 yards. A second full-length course, Scarecrow, opened in 2025 and was also designed by "DMK". It plays from 4,656 to 6,921 yards. The resort's "short course" is appropriately named Quicksands, consists of 14 par 3 holes that range from 60 to 180 yards. And if you want a real test of your putting, try the 100,000 square foot Cascades putting course.

Situated on the bluffs above the Columbia River, Gamble Sands offers great views of mountains and water in every direction. Gamble Sands is deep in the heart of central Washington, 200 miles northeast of Seattle and 130 miles west of Spokane.
